Classroom Management: Grading

Description

Surprisingly, your grading policy is often very individual. Being able to justify and defend your plan is the important part. You must also make your policy crystal clear to all stakeholders: parents, students, peers and administration.

Examples/Scenarios

Things to consider what it comes to grading:

  • What is the weight for each categories in your class?
  • Will you accept late assignments?
  • Will give 0 or 50% credit for assignments not turned in.
